Applies to: SmarterMail 1.x and higher
In order the setup an email account in Outlook Express do the following:
- Start Outlook Express
- Go to the Tools menu
- Click Accounts
- Click Add and then select Mail
- Add Your Display Name
- Click Next
- Add your email address
- Click Next
- Enter your Email-server Names
- POP3: mail.computercall.eu
- SMTP: mail.computercall.eu
- Enter your complete email address for Account Name
- Enter your Password (related to your SmarterMail account)
- Check the box for Remember Password
- Click Next and then Finish
- On the Internet Accounts dialog, Highlight the Mail account you just created and click Properties.
- On the General tab, set the Reply Address to be the same as your Email Address
- Click on the Server tab and check the box for My server require authentication
- Click the Settings (Make sure the radio button for “Use same settings as my incoming mail server” is set.)
- Click OK
- Click Apply
- Click OK
